In 1829, here in our homeland, the “Battle of Petra” took place. It was the last military engagement of the Greek Revolution of 1821. As a tribute to our ancestors, we created “Last Battle.”
Last Battle has been aged in new and used French oak barrels of 350 liters for at least three years, resulting in a buttery finish with great persistence. It exhibits aromas of oak, smoke, caramel, ripe forest fruits, and spices. On the palate, it is rich, oily, full-bodied, and round, harmoniously integrated with the barrel, fruity with light notes of smoke, honey, and caramel.
The ideal serving temperature is between 12-15°C.
