The estate’s vineyards are located in the “Old Vineyard” location of Tyrnavos. The name “Old Vineyard” indicates that historically the area has always been a place of grape cultivation. Now the toponym identifies the estate’s wines and “travels” with them around the world, bringing the aroma of Tyrnavos to the most important wine markets. An ally in the top quality of the estate’s wines is the mild continental climate and the good drainage of the soil.
Limniona is one of the rare red varieties, which lead to wines with extract, concentration, acidity, aromas and taste, which do not tend to become thick and overly bodied and appeal to those looking for elegant and unusual red wines.
Classic red vinification with several days of post-fermentation extraction in open 300 LT barrels. Aging for 14 months in French oak barrels and at least 8 months in the bottle. Deep ruby color. You can drink it now at 16˚ C, but you can also keep it for at least 5 years in your cellar and taste its evolution.
It goes well with yellow cheeses, red meat dishes or dishes with spicy red sauces.
